What is Storm Focus?

Storm Focus is a Pomodoro focus timer wrapped in cinematic rain, thunder, and snow ambience. You set a focus session, choose an ambience scene (Storm City, Suburban, Forest, Ocean, Snow Storm…), and let the storm carry you into deep work. The app tracks your daily focus minutes, streaks, and weekly statistics.

Is my data stored on a server?

No. All your session data, statistics, and settings are stored exclusively on your device. Storm Focus is fully local-first — there is no account to create, no login required, and your data never leaves your device.

How do I start a focus session?

On the Focus tab, tap the play button to start the default Pomodoro timer. To customise your session rhythm and set a time goal, tap "New session" to pick a rhythm (Classic, Ultra, Deep Focus, or Custom) and an optional goal before starting.

What is Deep Focus mode?

Deep Focus mode launches an immersive full-screen timer view with only the clock visible — no distractions, no controls except pause and end. It is designed for long, uninterrupted work blocks. Deep Focus requires Storm Focus Pro.

How do I change the ambience scene?

Open the Ambience tab and tap any scene tile to switch to it immediately. You can also adjust rain, thunder, and ambient volume independently using the sliders. Some scenes require Storm Focus Pro.

Where can I see my focus statistics?

Tap the stats bar at the bottom of the Focus tab (visible when you have logged focus time today) to open the weekly statistics screen. You can navigate back through previous weeks using the arrow buttons. Statistics require Storm Focus Pro.

What is Storm Focus Pro?

Storm Focus Pro is a one-time lifetime upgrade. It unlocks all ambience scenes, daily focus statistics, Deep Focus mode, goal tracking, custom timer durations, and advanced settings (auto-advance, silence on break, and more). There are no subscriptions or recurring fees.

How do I restore my Storm Focus Pro purchase on a new device?

Open Settings inside the app and tap "Restore purchase". Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase. Your Pro entitlement will be restored automatically.

How do I request a refund?

All purchases are processed by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support through the App Store app.

The ambience sound is not playing. What should I do?

Make sure your device is not on silent mode and that the in-app volume sliders (Rain, Thunder, Ambient) are turned up. Also check that Storm Focus has permission to play audio in the background in your iOS Settings → Storm Focus.
