Privacy Policy

Storm Focus ("we", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the Storm Focus app handles, how it is stored, and your rights. Storm Focus is a local-first Pomodoro focus timer app. All your session data, statistics, and preferences are stored exclusively on your device using on-device storage (AsyncStorage). We do not operate servers that hold your personal data.

2. Data We Collect

On-device session data: focus session history, daily and weekly focus minutes, streak counts, timer preferences, and goal settings you configure in the app. This data never leaves your device. App preferences: your chosen ambience scene, timer durations, volume settings, haptics preferences, and other display settings. Stored locally on your device. In-App Purchase receipt: if you purchase Storm Focus Pro, Apple provides a purchase receipt which is verified against Apple's servers to confirm your entitlement. We receive only confirmation of purchase status — we never see or store your payment card details. No analytics or tracking: we do not collect usage analytics, crash reports, or any form of behavioral tracking.

3. How We Use Your Data

All session and preference data you generate is used solely to power the timer, statistics, streak tracking, and goal-tracking features within the app, entirely on your device. We do not sell, share, or transmit your data to any third party.

4. Third-Party Processors

Apple Inc. (apple.com) — In-App Purchase management and payment processing. When you purchase Storm Focus Pro, Apple handles all payment transactions. We send the purchase receipt to Apple's verification API only to confirm your entitlement. We never receive or store your payment details. 5. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

For all session data and preferences you generate (focus minutes, streaks, timer settings), we act solely as local on-device storage. This data is never transmitted to us, so we are not a data controller in the GDPR sense for it. For In-App Purchase receipt verification, we act as a limited data controller on the legal basis of contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). This processing is strictly limited to confirming your Pro entitlement via Apple's verification API — we do not receive or store your payment details.

6. Data Storage & Retention

All session data and preferences are stored exclusively on your device. You can delete them at any time by resetting the app's data in Settings or by uninstalling the app. Purchase entitlement status is stored locally on your device and separately under your Apple ID.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

Since your session data lives exclusively on your device, you have full and direct control over it at all times. For the limited personal data we do process (IAP receipt verification), if you are in the European Economic Area you have the right to: • Access information about what data we hold • Request erasure of any data we hold about you • Lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority To exercise any of these rights, contact: asdevsupport@gmail.com

8. Children

This service is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
